How can I report a shared link with illegal nude photos?
There is an anonym dropbox account, which has upload illegal nude photos. [shared link removed by Moderator to align with the Community's Guidelines] DROPBOX needs to deleted all these illegal content. Replace files without breaking the shared link on desktop application for Mac
Hello, I have used Dropbox for years to share PDFs on my website. I work on a mac and use the Dropbox desktop application. Previously, when I wanted to replace a PDF under the same name in Dropbox, I just had to save the new PDF by selecting the file I wanted to replace within the Dropbox folder on my Mac. I would click REPLACE and it automatically updated the PDF under the same name without affecting the shared link. Recently, I noticed this is no longer the case. It now deletes the original file and replaces it with a new file under the same name. This breaks the link. Fortunately, you can replace a file under the same name without affecting the link directly in Dropbox via a browser. Hey everyone! Having troubling sharing link with someone (Anyone with a link). Whenever someone clicks the link, the page appear blank white. The link won't load at all, just a white screen. Can't Share Links with Edit Rights
Hi, I want to share a folder on my Dropbox with someone outside of my team. I am using an admin account which is part of a Business Dropbox account. I can create a read-only link but when I go onto Settings there is no way to change the permissions granted by the link. Am I doing something wrong? Hi, For MP4 videos, when I share links, I change the dl=0 at the end of the link to raw=1. This no longer seems to work in Google Chrome as of the past few days. Was there something changed on your end to cause this issue? Others I share links with have the same issues, so it is not specific to my device. . When I share a folder with someone, and allow them to edit the folder, I notice that I get alerts every time that person makes changes to the shared Dropbox folder. So if, for example, they upload new files to the folder, I get a message saying just that. So my question is, when I make changes to that folder, is the person with whom I shared the folder getting the same alerts ... or am I (the person who sent the link) the only one who is getting the alerts ...? On a related note, if the other person is getting the alerts, is there a way to adjust the settings so that the other person is not getting the alerts ...? Upload to shared folder
Hello! A colleague has sent me a link to a dropbox folder, her permissions are set so I can edit. I can access the folder and I have added it to my personal dropbox. What I'd like to do is upload photos to the folder which I have done in my dropbox but I appear to need to reshare the folder, which doesn't feel right, I just want it to update the existing folder - what (inevitably simple) things am I missing.. I just found that deleting all the shared links that accumulate over time isn't that easy. In fact, I have to click on each one's ellipsis and then click again on "Delete". Imagine the fun I had for all those files and folders. May I suggest Dropbox made more use of the concept called "Checkbox", which is widely used in other parts of it's UI.5.6KViews7likes5Comments
