Suddenly, my automatic encrypted backup uploads to Dropbox don't work anymore, after years working perfectly. • I tried manual backup and that upload did not work either. • Asked hosting, they said no changes at them whatsoever. • Updraftplus say it's on Dropbox end. Errors: "Dropbox: failed to upload file to ..." Log: "Something went wrong. Don't worry, your files are still safe and the Dropbox team has been notified." I checked Dropbox status and that says ok. Box to Dropbox Migration Help Please!!!
Hi Everyone, First time posting so please excuse me if I am posting to the wrong place. I have accounts with box Box and Dropbox. I need to transfer a large folder (600 + gigs) to a folder I have on Dropbox. To manually do this via upload will jam my computer up and take forever. Saving email attachments (pictures) using Dropbox for Outlook on Windows 11
Hi smart peolple I have installed Dropbox for Outlook(desktop) on Windows 11. We are getting lots of mails with photos from out staff when they are cleaning. I wish to use the app for saving those photos on Dropbox. However when saving photos to Dropbox, It will also save all the icons in peoples signature. That is often 5-6 tiny pictures with phones, FB, LinkedIn logos ect. Anyway to avoid those tiny icons/pictures? Hello I am new to Dropbox and I am currently setting up Dropbox (former Sharepoint/OneDrive user). I can't find a lot of information on how to migrate from Sharepoint/OneDrive to Dropbox almost all the information are the other way around. Are there some best practices or guidlines I can follow and use. Do tools for data migration from Dropbox exists? The only information I could find was movebot and Storage Guardian. Are there any reviews and helpful tips? Good to know: I have a lot of data 1.5 TB + which I want to migrate without loss. Problem with attachment in Apple mail
I work on a Mac Studio (chip M2) with mac os x sonoma 14.4. All my documents are synchronized in dropbox and I use the desktop version of dropbox I have a problem for a few days now that prevents me from attaching documents to emails with Apple Mail When I attach a document, apple mail indicates "download", but the attachment is never in the message. Although the email starts, the person receiving it is unable to read the document because it appears corrupted and weighs 0 kb. If I use Outlook, the problem does not exist. If i use another computer with Apple Mail and Mac OS X Sonoma, the problem does not exist. If I forward an email with a received attachment, the problem does not exist. If I save a received attachement and then I send a new message with this attachement saved earlier on my Mac, the problem does not exist. When I get an e-mail with attachments and I want to save the attachments, I choose the synchronized folder and it seems to save the files. Then when the folder opens, it is empty. Adding Google Doc files to Dropbox Folder
I love this feature but it actually makes a copy of the document that is on Google Drive, which risks having people add edits in different places. Is there anyway to avoid this? Even if there was just an option to open the link to Google Docs from Dropbox. Hello, I opened a Microsoft Excel file from the Dropbox app on my iPad Pro and I saved it after I made changes and it will not upload the new version into Dropbox, it just says "Upload Pending". I tried deleting the Dropbox app and deleting the Excel app off the iPad and I tried turning it off and back on and I also tried switching to a different network and nothing has worked so far.
