Can no longer add files to or export from Dropbox on my Kindle Fire
Device: Kindle Fire Max 11 Operating system on computer (Mac Mini): Mac OS 26.2 I was always able to download pdfs into SongBook Pro, moving them from my Mac to Dropbox, then using my Dropbox on the Kindle I would export them to SongBook Pro. It would show up on the mac's Dropbox but not the Kindle's Dropbox, plus I could not delete files on my Kindle's Dropbox. So I uninstalled the Dropbox on the Kindle, reinstalled it but now cannot sign into Dropbox. Instead I get a message, "Can't connect to Dropbox. Make sure you're online, or try again later". Tried it again with ""HAVING TROUBLE SIGNING IN", I get the same message. Yet everything else still works on my Kindle, easily accessing the internet (as you can see, I'm contacting you). The Kindle is new, (one month old). The older one was the same kind (Fire Max 11). DROPBOX TRANSFERWhy can't I upload files in the background on the iOS Dropbox mobile app?
Hi there, photo upload from Dropbox iOs app to my Dropbox 1.) only 400 photos "clickable" 2.) more of an issue: once im not in the app or lock mode (iphone) photos/videos wont upload. when will this finally change? i mean google maps also runs in the background and can navigate and up/download data? thanks, matt
How can I upload files to a paid account without upgrading myself?
My family member and I are trying to share a Dropbox folder for caregiving. The family member has a paid account, and I have a free account. Is there no way for me to upload files to our shared folders without upgrading my account to paid? Anytime I try to upload a file, I get an error message telling me that have surpassed my 2 GB storage limit with my free account.
Files are waiting to be uploaded on Android but never do
Question or Issue I typically send files from my Android phone to my Windows PC using Dropbox, sending them to the Sent folder. I do this by using the Share feature on file manager app. Today, it’s not working. Dropbox says “Uploading to Dropbox . . . 3 files will upload in the background,” but it never uploads. When I open the Sent folder in Dropbox, I see the files, the names greyed out, with each one saying “Waiting to Upload.” I tried clearing the cache in the Dropbox app, restarting my phone, and trying again with fewer files (3, instead of 7), but the same thing happens. I checked the system status on Dropbox’s website, and it shows no current issues. Web searches on the topic list lots of possibilities, but are no help in determining which one is my issue (most of them, I can tell, are definitely not). Anyone know what’s going on, or how I can debug this?I'm seeing a 403 error when trying to upload files from Google Drive to Dropbox.
