Are webhooks down ?
Hi dropbox team,
we just get the mail about "We're seeing a large number of errors being returned by your webhook URI" from you but we still only receive the GET request but do not get any POST request from your servers after re-enabled our Apps.
Are webhooks with some problem now?
Thanks,
Jeffery
- Webhooks are currently working, but there are a few ways for issues like this to occur for specific webhook URIs. If you haven't already done so, please open an API ticket from the account that owns the relevant app(s) with the details so we can look into it specifically:

We are waiting for dropbox support troubleshooting, thanks. - kithokit9 years agoExplorer | Level 4any response so far for your side?
- Jeffery9 years agoExplorer | Level 4we have tried to re-enable it in our APP again after dropbox support said "We looked into this again, and also tried registering your webhook URI to another API app as a test, and it verified successfully." but it still failed .....
We are still continue troubleshooting it with Dropbox Support - Jeffery9 years agoExplorer | Level 4Just update our finding with Dropbox support.
We find there are connection issues from our hosts in AWS JP region to some dropbox IP addresses and we have created the support ticket to AWS for checking the problems - kithokit9 years agoExplorer | Level 4
How do u know it? Do you mean from Dropbox Server to AWS region?
- Jeffery9 years agoExplorer | Level 4Dropbox support give us 1 example IP address for testing and we find it can not be reached from our servers in AWS JP region.
I think you can create API ticket from your account to Dropbox support and find out the root cause together. If we don't get the example IP address , it is hard to find what happen between dropbox and our servers - Jeffery9 years agoExplorer | Level 4Hi kithokit,
Just for your reference, AWS support just update it looks like caused by by outside of AWS network (NTT network) problem and the issue is fixed.
After re-enabled our Apps, our server can get the POST requests now :) - Greg-DB9 years ago
