Is feasible to use Dropbox as file storage in SaaS?

Hey everyone. I am building a SaaS that is a management system. The user would be uploading files into our dropbox through our system. In our functionality testing, we had a bottleneck of links expiring, my developer was able to rectify this by making the links not expire.

However, I am now having second thoughts about using dropbox, is it a viable solution? Should I look for an alternative (AWS) or is using dropbox fine for this purpose.

Your input is appreciated.

Dropbox does offer an API you can use for listing, uploading, and downloading files, among other operations, so it sounds like it should work for your use case. You can find everything you need to get started with the Dropbox API, including documentation, tutorials, and SDKs here:

Ultimately, whether or not you want to use the Dropbox API is up to you, but we'll be happy to help with any specific questions or issues you might have. If you have any particular questions, just let us know.

Hi Greg. Thanks for the reply! It feels good to hear that it is possible to do this.

Our system is complex and it would be catastrophic to lose files in Dropbox or access to them. I will consult the API documentation.
