Date of file changes from UK to USA version when added to Dropbox

I have produced a spreadsheet, but when its put into dropbox the dates changed from UK to USA version.  Is there away to stop this

Thanks inadvance

  • Thanks for the screenshot, Lyn14! From your screenshot, it looks like you’re previewing the file on the Dropbox website.

Can you please click on the “Open in” button above the preview, and open your file with Excel for the web instead? Do you still see the dates in the US format then?

If yes, do you see any option to switch to the UK format instead?

Nancy, thankyou. Yes I was viewing in the Dropbox.  I thought that because I was just "looking" it was okay.

Thanks everyone for taking time to help me,
