Cannot open Word documents in Dropbox
I am synced to open Dropbox documents in the online-only mode on my Surface Pro since it doesnt have a ton of hard drive memory. That has worked well for several years. Recently, my Surface Pro has been unable to open Word documents stored stored in Dropbox. Instead, I get the "Unspecified Error" message. I can open pdf files stored in Dropbox without a problem. Server or network failed or the format is not supported error when viewing a video
I have been trying to view a video that was uploaded here but I keep getting the error message "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." I then tried to download the video (using chrome) and it failed, saying that there was a server problem. I have tried changing my DNS settings, refreshing the page, checking to see if my browser is up to date, changed browsers, downloaded Quicktime player and VLC to try and view the video (it was captured on an iphone and is apparently an mp4 file), and even tried to disable adblock and got nothing. I'm tired of this and I just want to watch the video... What else can I do? Previewing TIFF only shows first page
Hello When I click on a .tiff file to preview, it only shows the first page for that preview. For other files like PDF, it shows all pages. From Dropbox's documentation, tiff previews should be supported up to 200MB files. I was sent ym first dropbox video link in my email. When I click on it it goes to Dropbox and says..." That didn't work for some reason. If it's a fluke refresh the page..." Recently I am getting the message "Couldn't load file. There was an error loading the file" on my iphone. I had the files resent to me, and I was able to open them at one time last night, but half an hour later, got this error message on 5 out of 6 files. (Please keep your responses simple. After downloading a video it's then choppy and slow, whether I use my mobile or laptop.
After downloading the video is choppy and laggy. I tried it on my android phone, my laptop (browser: chrome , firefox) , and via the Laptop app. I tried viewing the clip in my phone , with vlc and the standard windows 10 media player. Since its a mov file i tried converting it to mp4 first which didnt work as well. if i open the dropbox link where the clips are uploaded they are not choppy. I dont know what to try anymore. "File cannot be accessed by the system" error message on my Windows device.
I have a paid account from Dropbox Plus. When I attempt to access some files in Dropbox, I get the File Cannot be Accessed by the System error. This happens with all of my jpg and other photo files. I have been able to access all of these files in the past. It's only since I moved to Windows 11 that this has started. As of yesterday, all of the pdfs stored in Dropbox on my laptop are showing as Chrome HTMLs. I usually open them in Adobe Reader but am not able to anymore. They open as a webpage. Did I change some setting by mistake? I thought that it was perhaps an Adobe problem, so uninstalled and reinstalled that.
