Dropbox Paper - images don't load on the web

Similiar to 3 months ago I again have a dropbox paper file that doesn't show pictures that have been uploaded. When I click on the file I get an access denied notification. Very weird as I uploaded the pictures via copy pace.

The same issue occured 4 months ago documented in the following community ticket. Dropbox Paper images aren't loaded on the web | The Dropbox Community

I am really wondering if dropbox paper is still a service should use if this happens again and again - maybe its better to switch to a more reliable solution such as notion.

Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://media.licdn.com/dms/image/v2/D5622AQG1WaxHAI0r0w/feedshare-shrink_2048_1536/B56Zj3q93DG4Aw-/0/1756501896665?" on this server.

Hi pfahrun, let's jump right into this!

Let me start by asking how many Paper documents on your account are experiencing this behavior?

Do the images not preview in all docs or just a specific one?

I was wondering what happens if you try to add a new image to the doc. Does it successfully preview?

Also do you see the exact same thing on different browsers? Feel free to test this on an incognito window as well and let me know what happens then.

Lastly, if you create a new Paper doc and copy the entire content of the one that has the issue, do the images load on the new one?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

    Thank you for your response.

    #1 Far Reach!!!! ❌
It is far reaching. I just opened a file where I added pictures 11 days ago. And everything is gone. Horrible!!  So it rely concerns multiple files. How many? I don't know. But how should someone rely on Dropbbox paper if content is getting lost?! This is really inacceptable. Would you still consider storing files on Google Drive if they are getting lost.

This is really a big thing and it is happening to me now a second time within months!

#2 Adding new pic - ok
If I add a new image. It successfully previews.

    #3 Incognito - Issue remains ❌

#4 Created new file - Issue remains ❌
I created a new file and used copy pace. The specific images that has no preview has also no preview in the new file.

It is really like last time. It started slow in 1 or 2 files with just some images in some files.

Now - all of a sudden it spreads across many dropbox paper files.
