Download fails always
Always the same problem with Dropbox. It cannot handle big files, a platform which main function should be to manage big files. Currently all the platform it's a spammy scam made to force you to subscribe and they cannot fix that basic error. They never give answer, they just suggest to buy a premium membership.

Hey DownloadFailsAlways, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
Thanks for the feedback here, but would you mind giving us some more info on the issue?
How large are the files you're trying to download?
And are you using the Dropbox website or the mobile app?
Thanks in advance.

I am using DropBox on the web using FireFox 121.0.1 (64-bit). The file is about 59GB -- not much by today's video standards. I have tried the same file several times now and it fails about 2/5ths of the way through without any message but that it failed. Google Docs never has problems like this in our experience. By the way, I am only using DropBox reluctantly to get shared files from someone else. Our film company stopped using DropBox several years ago because we had too many problems like this on different computers both PC and Mac on different browsers. Like Adobe, DropBox does not seem to fix problems or provide viable workarounds so we left.

I always have problems with downloading or uploading multi-gigabyte files from or to DropBox. DropBox fails without any detailed explanation and your only recourse is to try again. That's why I switched to Google Docs instead because I've never had an upload or download failure with any files. Google Docs and other similar services work fine on my computer, unlike DropBox. It does not matter whether I use FireFox, Chrome, or Safari; DropBox drops dead on all of them for large uploads or downloads.
