Dropbox won't save or download Excel file as PDF

I used to be able to easily convert my Word and Excel files in Dropbox to PDFs using the Export or Print functions. Although it is still working for Word docs, it is not working for Excel files.  It lets me go through the steps using the Export or Print functions, but when I click "Download" that dialog box goes away but nothing has been download.  If I try just going to the three ellipsis next to the file name, Save As > PDF is no longer visible as an option for my Excel docs even though it still is for my Word docs.  I know I can download the actual .xlsx file, convert it to a PDF and then re-upload it to Dropbox, but I would to be able to do it within Dropbox like I used to.  Thank you for any help on this

I am having the same problem.  Can't save/convert files to pdf when in excel format even through the print feature.  Using a Macbook Pro laptop and chrome as my browser.

    Hey Schuler157  ! I hope you're doing well.

As per the printing feature you mention, can you send over a screenshot of the options you see while trying to print your Excel files as a PDF? You can blur any details you don't want us to see.

Also, what's the exact file extension of the files you're having trouble with?

Can you please describe the steps you're following in order to do this?

Using Firefox as web browser to login to Dropbox.

Clicking on a Excel file to open it in Dropbox.

When wanting a PDF file, clicking archive/export/PDF - no PDF file appears anywhere in Dropbox or on the PC.

    Trying

Using Firefox as web browser to login to Dropbox.

Clicking on a Excel file to open it in Dropbox.

When wanting a PDF file, clicking archive/export/PDF - no PDF file appears anywhere in Dropbox or on the PC.

Trying to create a PDF by printing one, archive/print/print to pdf -same result, no PDF

Hi FRESKO, could you attach screenshots showing where you're seeing the 'archive/export/PDF' options?

Hi CRG1, let's jump right into this!

Would you mind describing the platform you're using?

Can you also clarify your OS, along with the exact steps you follow?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

I'd like to add my voice if it helps bring back this feature. I'm sure it used to be available until quite recently.

    Cheers
