Full video not downloading, only part of it.

Not really sure what is going on...

I have tried downloading multiple different video files that are on a shared dropbox, but the full video does not download. It says on my computer that the video is the full length, etc. but it only downloads up to about 20minutes max (usually a max of 5-7GB). (I am using a chrome browser)

Has anyone had this issue and know how to resolve?

A good place to start troubleshooting this is by using a dedicated download manager or switching to a different browser (like Firefox or Edge), which may handle large files more reliably than Chrome in some casesAlso, check out this helpful article that dives into the issue of partial video downloads and playback problems: . It explains why these problems happen and offers tips for fixing or even attempting to play partially downloaded video files.

Hey davisjenny, thanks for posting here!

Do you experience the same issue as the OP?

Would you like to share some additional details with me such as: when did that first start, and which browser are you using?

Also, have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this thread?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi cameron01, if you could also try either the app, or a different browser, that'd be lovely.

In any case, feel free to update me on the results, Cameron.

    Hi Megan!

It is 26GB, I don't use the desktop app but I will try that!

    Thanks

Hi cameron01, let's jump right into this!

As a first step, can you let me know the full size of this video? If I were you, I'd also try downloading the file using a different browser, can you give it a go?

Do you use the desktop app on your end? If so, then you should be able to see your shared folder, and its files synced to the device.

    Keep me posted!
