How can I download a file to my desktop?

HELLO HOW CAN I DOWNLOAD AN ADITIONAL FILE THAT I FORGOT TO MY DESKTOP, WITHOUT UNINSTALLING AND INSTALLING THE DESKTOP APPLICATION AGAIN

You'll need to provide some more details before anyone will know how to assist you best. Are you not able to download additional files? What happens when you try? What are the exact steps you're trying? Are you downloading files from your account or someone else's account (via a link, etc.)? Are you doing this through the Dropbox website?

You mentioned uninstalling and reinstalling. You shouldn't need to do that to download files.
