How to download and work on my Adobe files locally? Do I simply download them?

From what I understand, it sounds like you used our website to upload and backup your content, right? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Do you have our desktop app installed on your MacBook?
As for your request, you can either choose individual files to download from your account online, or you can download and install our desktop app if you're not using it already.
That way you can have all of your files visible locally on the device, and choose which one you need to work with.
If you're worried about the content taking up hard drive space you can also take a look at our selective sync settings, or how to make content online-only.
