Can i make a direct download link for my dropbox files by using dl.dropboxusercontent.com in place of www.dropbox.com

Is it ok for dropbox if i share my files this way

    Are you having a problem creating a direct download link? Creating a shared link now uses the dropbox.com domain. The dropboxusercontent.com domain, while still functional for files that use it, is no longer used to create new links to files. That method of sharing was deprecated years ago.
