Shared links: is there a way to monitor who has downloaded the file?

I have a large file I want to send to my family. If I send them a copy of the Dropbox link is there a way to monitor who has downloaded the file?

    Hi onisenson, welcome to our Community! 

     

    No you can't. 

     

    There are ways to disable downloads, but you still can't see a specific breakdown of who downloaded the file in said link.
