Unable to download multiple files to Mac desktop

Please would you kindly confirm the steps to download multiple files to Mac desktop? I can only download one file at a time even though all files have been selected. Thank you.

How are you trying to download? If its via the website you tick the files at the left side (mouse over a name and the box will appear, or, click the one at the top) and then hit the "Download" button. It will put them all in a Zip file.

    Mark​ Thank you that's helpful.  

    On further thoughts, as there are alot of files, I thought that instead of downloading, I should sync the folder to Finder instead.  I followed the online the instructions stating goto: Dropbox website> Click avatar>Click Preferences>Click the Sync tab.  The problem is that I see Preferences  but there is no Sync tab.  Please would you clarify?

      Have you installed Dropbox on to your machine first? 

      http://www.dropbox.com/downloading will do that for you. That will then sync all of the Dropbox you see online in to a \Dropbox directory on your machine.
