Unable to view photos in Dropbox after the update.

Ever since the dropbox update i have been unable to view my photos. This includes jpegs, HEICs, and other types of photos. Any suggestion on how to fix this?

Hi there, debbie1425, let's jump right into this!

Could you clarify which platform you use on your end, when trying to preview your files?

Do you use our website, desktop or mobile app? Also, do you get any specific errors when trying to view your files?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

    Hi Megan,

When using the website and the mobile app I do not have issues. I'm having the issue when I use the desktop app. When I click on the photos they say "Sorry. Photos can't open this file because the format is currently unsupported, or the file is corrupted.

Hi debbie1425, could you try quitting the app, and then opening the files again, to see if you get the same error then?

If you do, feel free to send me a screenshot.
