After a Dropbox update on my account, some files are missing

Since the transition to the new Dropbox format last night, I am missing ALL of my files that had been stored (and synced with dropbox) in my "Downloads" folder.

This is a CRITICAL folder I use as a "holding cell" -- and REALLY need to find where the files went!  Help!

Thanks.

Hi michael_munson, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you referring to the Dropbox Business team upgrade as mentioned on this page?

Have you already contacted the support team for them to assist further regarding the files?

Keep me updated with any progress!

Dropbox 2TB account holder here. I have this exact same issue since I updated Dropbox on Mac yesterday. All downloaded files are now reported missing under the Download folder on Mac. This is highly critical for me too.
The Mac app reports that only 198 files could not sync. However, there were thousands of files in my Download folders that covered years of history. Where did they go?
