All files gone after many years of non-activity. Where did they go?
I've had a dropbox for years and have been continuously paying and now all my files are gone. I did not delete them and looked at recover but nothing there. Please help me find these.

Hey Good news. It looks like it was using my gmail for log into a new account and it is under another email. I don't use the gmail but it must have opened a new dropbox account. Anyway I found my files. THanks for helping.

It is my same email address but events and billings are blank pretty much. So I think when I tried to sign back in to check maybe it created a new account?

5 months agoHey melanie75058, have you tried looking up your payments with our payment lookup tool here?
Accounts do get disabled due to inactivity after a certain amount of time, so your assumption might be correct, if your subscription stopped years ago and you didn't sign into your account ever since.
Just to be sure, look up the payments to find the email address of the account and let us know what comes up.
Might be worth checking if you received an email about your account getting disabled as well.
