All my folders suddenly disappeared from my Dropbox account
Hi,
Suddenly I have all my folders and subfolders that have disappeared from my Dropbox.
I don't share this Dropbox with any one.
I haven't found anything relating trace of deletion of files....

Clear your browser's cache/browsing history.

www.dropbox.com/events shows no access and additions
The only events it shows is:
KS
Vous avez ajouté l’application Dropbox.

To try to face this problem, 2 days ago I have installed Dropbox on my computer hoping that I get a copy of all the content of my dropbox but only the basic root pdf file have been synchronized.

2 years agoHey KafS, I just wanted to clarify that a Dropbox account can only be associated with one email address.
However, if there are no events in your events page and no files in your deleted files page, I'd suggest searching your other email accounts, to see if you can find any emails from Dropbox.
This way, you'll find out if the account with all your files is under a different address.

Let me tel you that I am quit sure that I'am using the right email.
Another important information is that when I'm connecting to the dropbox web site containing my folders I can see clearly the tree view of my forlders on the left side. But when I clic on any one of them there are all empty.
I can send you a screen shot I that could help. - KafS2 years agoNew member | Level 2

Very fine, thanks a lot, that was the right test to do!!!
The problem I related appears on my Chrome webbrowser in the public mode I'm usualy using.
I have tried to sign in to my Dropbox account from Edge browser in a private mode and all my files appeared! See screenshot below.
I did same thing with my Chrome browser, but in private mode, and it was also OK.
Would you have an idea what to do to get it work again with my Chrome browser in a normal mode?
But anyway, the most important is that you have solved my severe problem and you have given me a solution to recover to my 2 GB data!
The first thing I'm going do is to synchronize all this files in my local computeur throw your Dropbox agent to avoid any further issue. I have already installed it. - KafS2 years agoNew member | Level 2
Deleting my browser's cache/browsing history has solved my problem.
Thank you very much for your help!
