Can i delete a folder on one device but keep it on my other devices?

I use my Macbook as my master dropbox device.  I also use my company laptop for syncing and sharing files between work and home.  If wish to delete the files on my company laptop but retain my files ...

    Hi jamilsiddique, before you return your company laptop, you should unlink your Dropbox account or uninstall the Dropbox app. However, uninstalling the app will not delete your local data from the computer. You should manually delete your local Dropbox folder.

    Initially, thank you Elixir for your troubleshooting, much appreciated! I just wanted to mention the relevant links on uninstalling the Dropbox desktop app and unlinking a computer, phone or tablet from Dropbox which provide a bit more info and instructions on the processes outlined.
