Can't share a folder

Hello. I wanted to share a folder with someone and give them editing rights but a message pops up and says the folder can only be shared as a link becuase it contains a shared folder. I do not see a ...

    Hi there, most likely there is a folder within that folder which is shared. Even if it is only shared with one person (i.e yourself), it is still technically a shared folder. 
     
    Could you navigate within that folder to see if any folders have the two person icon, like so?
     
     
    Afterwards you can unshare the folder completely and then share the parent folders. 
     
    Let us know how it goes!

Thank you! I've checked and double checked my folders within the folder I want to share and none of them are shared folders - but I still can't share the main folder.

    We’ll need to look into this further, since there is definitely a shared folder within that parent folder you want to share.
