Deleted files from my basic Dropbox

I accessed my Dropbox and all of my files had disappeared.  I have a basic account and I queried this - managed to get support who said that they could see my files, but I couldn't.  I got a message saying it's in my 'messages', but I can see this anywhere.  I've been unable to access important training materials and my CV and thought I'd try again for help as noone from the Support Team has replied to my emails.  Can anyone advise?

Hey triciac1, sorry to hear about that!

Have you checked your events & deleted page, or any of the troubleshooting steps mentioned throughout this thread?

If so, can you let me know what your Events page reports?

    Keep me posted!
