Duplicated or recovered files can't be renamed, and no DB menu items on Mac
I recovered an accidentally overwritten document via Time Machine, and restored it to my local Dropbox folder. It had (recovered) appended to the file name, but when I attempted to delete that extra text, I found that the file could not be renamed using any of the Finder functions. ("Rename" is greyed out in the File menu, and clicking on the name does not make it editable.) Get Info indicates that I have r/w privileges, and that the document is not locked.
I discovered that any file that I create with Finder's "Duplicate" command also has the same issues. These "frozen" files are present in the DB remote folder, and I can rename them there, but it's still impossible to change their names in Finder.
The other oddity is that right-clicking on the file names does not bring up the DB menu items.
I can open the files just fine, and "Save as" with the desired name, but I rely on the original creation and modification dates to keep these files sorted. This issue is limited to items in the DB folder. Anybody out there know what's going on?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, JPDemers.
If you close the Dropbox app, does the renaming issue persist while the app is closed?
Also, if you close it and then relaunch it, does that help bring back the right-click menu items?
And what's the sync status and version of the app when you hover your mouse over the Dropbox icon?
Let me know and we'll go from there.
