Exclude Photos and folders from The PHOTO Tab
Hi Dbox,
this is really annoying that ALL pictures goes to the Photo Tab.
I want to select what goes there.
For example I diont want to have thousands of Work pictures in the Photo tabs.
I want the photo Tab to be for my personnal photos only.
Keep in mind this Photo tab is also acessible on my phone. so why should i carry non personnal photos?
Today it seem impossible: all the pictures are just added to that PHOTO tab, from whatever folder.
Thanks a lot
Louis H

There used to be a feature that allowed you to exclude folders from the Photos page, but it was removed years ago.

UPDATE!!!
Yup. Still not possible. Someday some other company is going to be as stable or better than DB and have abilities that DB USED to have. When that day comes, I'm out.
- rc073 years agoNew member | Level 2Is there a way to delete a picture from the photos tab without removing it from the folder(s) I have placed it in? I have placed photos in multiple folders to keep things organized and was wondering if I could delete them from the photos tab without deleting them from their folders in the files tab

Hey rc07, thanks for reaching out.
At the moment, it's not possible to choose which photos appear in the photos tab or remove photos without deleting them from the account.
I found this relevant idea on our idea board, though, which you can up-vote to show your support.

The link appears to take me this very page.

Hi M S.1, I checked and it seems you had a different thread open, troubleshooting about your Photos tab on your mobile.
When you say that the link takes you to this very page, I am not exactly sure I follow. Can you let me know more as to which link you're referring to?

Megan,
the link referred to is included in your message and embedded here "I found this relevant idea on our idea board, though, which you can up-vote to show your support."
I also want to upload photos, move them to files and once moved not have them in the photos tab.
So I went to the link you gave and tried to upvote/request this and it just came back here.
the photos tab seems usless to me. If you dont file them away they all will appear in the uploads section. If you do file they just all stay jumbled up here anyway

Hi steveroper, we appreciate the feedback, and the link provided was in error. Currently, it isn't possible to remove photos from the Photos tab.
If you wish, you can suggest this change for others to vote on, so the dev team can look into this in future.

I just suggested this change if you want to vote for it:
