Folder "files on my computer" re-occurring

Hi, I hope this is the right category, I'm having a problem with a folder.

Dropbox creates automatically the folder "files on my computer" and after I delete it the folder re-appare in an infinite loop.

Anyone had the same issue and found a solution to not show this folder on my desktop?

  • I fixed this by re-choosing the folders in "Choose or change folders backing up" under Manage Backups in the Preferences.

Hey LorisV, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

Can you please have a look at your events page and let me know what you find about those actions?

You could also check the version history of a sample file from the ones that keep re-appearing and see which computer, process or user is adding it back to your account.

In any case, please keep me posted!
