How can I delete locked files from my account?
Can someone help me figure out what to do? I left a company and returned my work computer. I had some personal photos on it from the last time I saw my father. They were nice enough to pull the phot...

3 years agoHi Woofie, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
From what you've described, it sounds like this is a shared folder on your account, to which you have read-only access.
You should be able to download the files to your computer, if they aren't already syncing, and copy them to a folder outside of the Dropbox folder.
Once done, you can temporarily leave the shared folder, which would free up quota on your account.
