How to delete individual scanned pages when scanning documents on the mobile app?
There used to be an ‘x’ button on the top right corner of each scanned page in the scanning function on the mobile app, but I’ve just noticed that it has disappeared with the new update. Since scanning whole documents in one go without any mistakes would be difficult to pull off, I’m wondering if there is any way I can get the ‘x’ button back. For context, I am using the latest version of the iPad app. Thanks!
Thanks for asking as I was having a similar issue and it turns out at least on my iPhone, the delete button is in the top left hand side of the scanned page. It is not visible but it does work.

Hi Sy_wuly, thanks for messaging the Community!
Are you running the app in light or dark mode?
There should still be the circle on the top right of the individual pages in order to delete them from the current scan.
If you're not seeing this, screenshots showing what you're seeing would be helpful! - Sy_wuly5 years agoExplorer | Level 3
Thank you for your reply, @Jay. I’ve first discovered this problem in light mode, however I’ve noticed that the problem persisted even in dark mode. Below are screenshots of the page I see during scanning.
As shown in the screenshots, the ‘x’ button is not present.Again, thank you for your reply.

Thanks for the images. If you swipe the images up ot down, does it delete it from the pages? - Sy_wuly5 years agoExplorer | Level 3
No, but it magnifies the image, and upon tapping on the magnified image the screen reverts to normal.

If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps? - Filet_afish5 years agoNew member | Level 2

Thank you very much for all of your help. I found that filet_afish’s answer, which is to tap on the top left-hand corner of the page, also works on my iPad.
