I can't use Shift + delete for my folders due to new "delete for everyone" pop-up message.
I am unable to shift+delete any folder inside my dropbox folder so I can skip the recycling bin. This seems to be connected to this new popup about asking if I'm sure I want to delete for everyone. Which is very strange, because this is NOT in a folder I've shared with anyone else.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Or how I can report this to Dropbox directly?
full uninstall and reinstall fixed it. Thank you!

nope, works just fine to shift+delete a folder inside my Dropbox folder if the tray application/icon is closed. As soon as I open up the Dropbox app again, the problem returns. It's definitely the Dropbox app doing it.

Exit the Dropbox application from your system tray and try it again. If you get the same result, it's likely nothing to do with Dropbox.

What happens when you try?
The "delete for everyone" dialog shouldn't have any impact on the ability to permanently delete a file or folder in Explorer. I do it all the time and I also checked the box to never show that dialog again.

Well, no, I can't. I already checked the box to never show that again, and there doesn't seem to be an option to "uncheck" that in the settings that I can see.

Hey MultiKoopa, thanks for your post.
As a first, can you send me a screenshot of the pop-up you keep receiving?
I want to have a visual and go from there.
Let me know when you’re ready.
