I need help as 5 GB of photos are gone

Just got an email from the dropbox team notifying me that I'll be able to restore all of the files that were missing. Huge thanks to the dropbox team!

3 years agoHey there JSO - sorry to jump in here, but when is the last time you remember seeing these files on the website or on your devices?
Are you sure you're looking at the correct account?
- JSO3 years agoHelpful | Level 6I only have one account. The last time I saw them was about a couple of weeks ago. I have 3 other folders containing photos that are still there. The photos that disappeared were all in the Camera Uploads folder.

Hi JSO, if you're not seeing the missing files on the deleted files page, then there's a few possibilities as to why this might be the case:
- They were on a shared folder you don't have access to any more
- The files were deleted outside of the 30 day period
- The files were permanently deleted
Is it possible that any of these would apply to your case?
