I removed my old device, and my files reverted to their older versions.

I had the maximum 3 devices on my account. When I deleted an old device and installed dropbox on my new computer any files in folders that existed on the old device reverted to that version. Some up ...

    It indeed looks like these files were last edited almost a decade or so ago, and not recently.

    Therefore, to mention what I also said in my previous reply but it looks like these were the only versions synced to Dropbox. 

    Based on the screenshot, you don't seem to have any recently created conflicted copies or new versions of these files.
