If I upgrade my account, can I restore files which were deleted more than 30 days ago?

Hi there, if I upgrade my account, can I recuperate files which were deleted more than 30 days ago?  I appear to heave deleted a large number of files and have checked the deleted files folder but they are not there. I'm not sure when the last sync took place but have checked all the folders in my account and cannot find the missing files. Thank you

    Hi yoyofromarroyo, thanks for posting here! 

     

    I'm afraid that this isn't possible. If these photos were deleted 7 years ago, there's not much we can do, since all files will be permanently deleted after your account's recovery window.

     

    You can recover files within 30 days of their deletion for Basic/Plus accounts, and 180 days for Professional/Business account.

    POssible to upgrade to get back files deleted 3 mths ago ? they are still shwing in the dropbox app on desktop when i right click /

     

    i cant seem to restore them from then dropbox website .

    No. Upgrading now won't let you recover a file that's already beyond your recovery period.

    Hi 

    I have basic plan and my files on Dropbox got corrupted. Is it possible to recover my data after upgrading the Dropbox plan

    I'm afraid this isn't possible. Upgrades are also not retroactive, so they take effect after your upgrade.
