I am also having the same issue! I've also found that sometimes I'll double click on an image, tag it there, then go back to files and click the check box beside that same image to see the File Info, and the tags that I just added aren't there anymore. Just jumping in on this thread hoping to find resolution.

I'm also experiencing the issue with tags not showing under File Info in the sidebar when I go back to files. Really hoping to find a resolution for these!
