Page turner pedal on iPad isn't turning the pages

I have used a Cicada Page Flip pedal for many years to turn pages on song lyrics in Dropbox files on my iPad. Suddenly the pedal does not turn the pages, even though it instantly connects via Bluetooth and no preferences have changed. Any ideas what's up?

    I got the same "avoid Dropbox at all costs" answer from Airturn when my Dropbox suddenly stopped responding after the iOS update. I frankly jumped on their response telling them that it was a poor attitude to say that, when a little effort to work with Dropbox to solve incompatibilities would go a long way with many of us who have relied on the combination for a long time. Now, from reading this thread, I might have to amend my response to include Apple in that equation of problem solving.

    This fixed the problem with my PageFlip Cidada pedal and Onsong, but I still haven't figured out how to make it work with Dropbox or Google Docs.

     

    It was an accessibility setting for keyboard access.  After weeks of frustration, I did this and it fixed everything for Onsong.. 

    • Open the system Settings app
    • Choose Accessibility > Keyboards > Full Keyboard Access
    • Turn Full Keyboard Access OFF
