Paper Older Version

Hey JOfE, sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to confirm that you should be able to search for both your Dropbox files and your Paper docs when using the content search feature.

Results from Paper do not show up in my Dropbox search results and vis versa in my Paper searches. Can you confirm Walter that the expansive content search across Paper and Dropbox works for those not on Paper 2020?

I have exactly the same problem, the .paper dropbox integrated document shared to me by "newer" dropbox users are not searchable, either from paper site, nor from dropbox search. Along the years I am using paper for managing many projects, I taught many people the benefits of this feature and showed them how to use it. But at the end I have problem to collaborate with them, because every time I need to acces a shared paper, I have to search it in emails or elswhere - cannot find it simply on my paper site, or dropbox.

I contacted support about this annoying problem almost 3 years ago (2020-07-03), and then on (2021-06-18). I find this unbeliavable. Please make this integration of old paper -> to dropbox *.paper files happen.

Is the only option realy to create a new dropbox account?

As of this date, dropbox/paper has not solved this problem for either. The only solution I found for this was switching to Google docs.
