Photos disappeared

I was looking at photos stored in my dropbox account. I tried to download a few of them. All of them disappeared. Nothing is in the deleted files folder. When I look at events is shows that my laptop was linked to the account this morning. That's it. I can't find the photos anywhere on my computer or on dropbox.

It sounds like you're looking at a newly created account - do you happen to have another Dropbox account associated with another email address of yours perhaps?

I only have one account. Maybe I didn't sign into the help center correctly?
