Recover older version of a file

I am a free user I use Dropbox to sync an app called 2Do 2 days ago the sync was corrupted/lost data. Is there a way to rewind to a prior version of files which were changed or deleted ? There are...

Hi Jschutz8,

 

I'd be happy to help you restore to a previous version of that file.

 

So long as it's within your account's version history, here's what to do:

 

  1. Put your cursor on the name of a file from here (any document, or image, or something else ending in . and three letters, such as .JPG, .PDF and so on).
  2. Click the three dots ("...").
  3. Click Activity --> Version history.
  4. Click on a version to preview it.
  5. Click Restore on the version you'd like to restore to.
