'Waiting to Sync' message; syncing stuck on Windows 10

Hi there,

I have been having an issue with files being stuck on "waiting to synch" for a few days now.

Windows 10  - Dropbox v147.4.4800

I have tried the following:

- Re-installed the App

- Moved files out of dropbox and back in

- Made sure bandwidth levels are set to "no limit"

- Used the alt-H command to reset Hardlinks and Permissions.

- Deleted Cache
- Restarted many times.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Hi Hannah,

    Thanks for your response.

I solved the issue this morning by resolving some synch errors and downloading the most recent offline installer.

Hey kristofferb, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Can you please check the sync status of the Dropbox application, to see if there are any error messages there?

You can see that by hovering your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your system tray

Let me know and we'll go from there.
