Why can't I edit an Excel file I created and own but other members can edit?
I have tried everything I can think of. Others I have provided access to the file CAN edit. But, I cannot.
Do you see an option below that, like in this image?

OK, that was the issue. I loaded Excel for the web, and it works on my laptop and iPhone. Thank you!👏

So, you're using the 'Excel for the Web' interface via the Dropbox site.
What happens when you open the file, what exact options do you get?

I am trying to edit it within the Excel file in DropBox. It is a shared folder with other people who have rights to edit. I am doing this on my laptop and iPhone

edHi Mikeymoto, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you trying to edit the Excel file on the Dropbox site, via your desktop machine in the Excel app, or on your mobile device?
Is this file in a shared folder on your Dropbox account?
This will help me to assist further!
