Can I set notifications for other users to know when I add a file to a shared folder?

Hello - if we are opening a "dataroom" on dropbox for outside users, is there a way for these users to be notified (daily or weekly, perhaps) of the files that have been added to various folders? For...

    In general, users will get an immediate email notification that they have been invited to a shared folder but not that the folder has been changed (additions, edits, and deletions) on a daily basis. 
     
    However, I understand how important this is for you, so I’d be more than happy to pass your comments along to the dev team for future consideration.
