Can I store files only on dropbox and not on my hard drive?
Is there a setting that allows me to keep certain files on dropbox but not stored on all my devices?
thanks!
Michael
Yes. It's called Selective Sync. With it, any folders that you uncheck will be removed from the local hard drive of that computer. You'll need to use it on each computer where you want to remove the local copy of a folder.
Make sure that the folder is completedly synced BEFORE you uncheck it within the Selective Sync settings. Doing so before it is fully synced would result in lost files.
