Can someone with a paid account share their storage space with me?

I have a client who has a paid subscription dropbox - I am using the free version can this client share his storage with me? he shares his file but since i reach the space my files are not syncing wi...

    Hey from me as well, gd1235.

    If you don't already have an account to use, I would suggest creating one and then getting your client to invite you to the shared folder, using the email address you used to create the account.

No. His space does not benefit you at all. 

If you have 2gb of free space that's all you can sync from his account. If his shared folder is bigger than that you cannot sync anything/it would stop. 

If you need read only access ask for read only links instead.
