Cant share files without them registering. Dropbox chat not working.

Hey MamaBear2017, how exactly did you share the files?
If you used your sister's email, I'm guessing you directly shared them with her, which means she needs a Dropbox account, and enough space on her account in order to access them.
Have you tried following these steps, in order to maybe send your sister a "view only" shared link?

Hey MamaBear2017, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
I'm not quite sure what the issue is here. Could you provide some additional information please?
Also, when you say the Dropbox chat is not working, did you contact our Support team or are you referring to the Chat-bot?
Let me know more and we'll take it from there.

I uploaded some videos and tried to share with my sister's email, but when she went there, it said she'd have to register to see them, which never happened before.
I clicked a Chat button, I think, but nothing happened.

I know how o share - been using this for years. ALL I wanted was for her to be able to view the videos I uploaded here.

You likely shared with edit access, which requires an account. You need to share with view-only access. Go into your account settings and make sure the default sharing option for What people can do is set to Can view.
