Can't upload multiple files

I'm using Dropbox for the first time and can't seem to select multiple photos off my computer to upload to Dropbox.  It says that I cannot select multiple photos from this location, try selecting a s...

    Oooops, I guess you can't upload from your phone that's plugged into your computer.  I had to transfer the files onto my computer then upload a bunch at once to Dropbox.

I just had a class reunion and want everyone to upload their photos to a Dropbox folder I set up for this. Problem is, the invite only allows single photos to be uploadd at a time which will either takea person forever or, more likely, foeget about uploading them... not good.

I could have them email the photos to me and I can upload them to the Dropbox folder, but that defeats the purpose of everyone uploading their own pictures to teh Dropbox.

Isn't there a way for a person to upload multiple files (photos) at a time on a file request?

Hey Bob (bob_hytekltd_co), you can easily gather these photos by sending your classmater a File Request. (Note: To my mind your best option would be to point the File Request to the folder you've already created for the purpose. ) 
 
Once uploaded, you’ll be able to access them on your File Requests tab & you’ll also receive an email, informing you of the upload. It may be worth mentioning that the recipients can upload multiple files from their device or Dropbox account & the total amount of traffic that all of your links and file requests combined can generate depends on the plan connected to your account.
