Can't use Final Cut Pro on File Provider
Dropbox is migrating to the (relatively) new FileProvider API.
They say Apple doesn’t allow Final Cut Pro libraries to be uploaded to cloud services.
Anybody knows why Apple doesn’t allow it and if there is a workaround to upload those library’s?
Would it be advised to migrate? I use final cut every so ofter for some hobby projects. not very regularly.
Thanks!

Hi BSM1, thanks for messaging the Community.
In general, under File Provider, this is a requirement for those libraries, and the Photos Library, to not be on cloud libraries.
Currently, there aren't any official workarounds for this, and if so, it would be not supported by Dropbox.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Would you advise migrating and why?
Is there a place in the community where I can subscribe to see when limitation and bugs are resolved specifically for dropbox with file provider. - Jay3 years ago

It's up to you if you wish to migrate to another provider, I wouldn't be able to advise on that matter.
This article mentions other changes with the File Provider version of the Dropbox desktop application.

Jay As of now, I don't want to switch service. I meant would it be advice to migrate to file provider?
