"Certain files in this folder can’t be shared due to a takedown request in accordance with the DMCA"
I have a folder with some video lock screens that I made myself back in 2019. Whilst checking that all my links still work, I noticed that I can view the 4 files and play them when logged in, but in private browsing one of the videos is missing saying:
"Certain files in this folder can’t be shared due to a takedown request in accordance with the DMCA"
Not quite sure how to dispute this as I only have a basic account and never received any email informing me of the takedown request
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Dropbox support have got back to me and have reversed the takedown. Thanks all!

Hey there, welcome to the Dropbox community originalClown
Have you searched your email for any correspondence from Dropbox related to the DMCA? I would reach out to copyright [at] dropbox.com to inquire about the alleged infraction.

Hey originalClown! Sorry for chiming in.
Can you try to access your files once again via an incognito window and send me a screenshot of the error you keep getting, just to have a visual?
If you try to share any other files from your Dropbox account now, do you receive the same, or a similar, error?

Hi there originalClown and welcome to the Dropbox Community. I’m really glad to hear things have been sorted with the sharing issue and thank you for taking the time to come back and let us know. It’s always appreciated and can be a big help to others who might see a similar message.
I’m Theresa 👩💻, one of the Community Managers here at Dropbox HQ. I love joining conversations like this or starting new ones across the board. Now that everything’s cleared up, I’d love to know ... is there a Dropbox feature you find especially helpful when managing shared content?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
