Disable PC Backup before moving Dropbox to a different drive
I just rebooted my Win10 PC. I have had my Dropbox set up on my internal 😧 drive. All of a sudden, I was asked to login and Dropbox is now syncing to my C: drive. When I try to switch it back to the way I had it set up on my 😧 drive, it says "...not supported on different drive. Disable PC Backup before moving Dropbox to a different drive." It is unclear to me how I disable it.
I have syncing paused at the moment.
I just want it to go back to the way I have had this set up for years now.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hey JeffFinnan, happy Friday!
It seems you're referring to our Computer Backup feature that you might have enabled.
You can find detailed instructions on how to disable it here. You should then be able to take all the necessary steps, and move your folders back to their original path.
I hope this helps to clarify things.- schroedingerNew member | Level 2
this response does not help. Your link points to a page explaining how to set up a backup, There is no mention of how to stop it.

The Backup feature and help articles have both changed since this post was originally made.
