How do I disable Dash on my Dropbox account online?
I just started using Dropbox for work. I do not have the desktop app/do not want to use the desktop version. I just use the online browser version. However I am so tired of Dash appearing all over the place and popping up trying to get me to use it and I cannot for the life of me find anyway to turn it off. I do not want it trying to "ai teach" me about my own files. I just want it to go away and stop opening side panels while I'm trying to work/find a file I need. I've Googled answers but all I get are solutions for the desktop application version of Dropbox.
Please if anyone knows how to turn it off on the browser version of Dropbox, I owe you my mental sanity and well-being. Thank you!
If it helps, I use Firefox as my browser.
Hi arv0wz,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you've been having issues with Dash.
If you go to Settings and navigate to the Apps tab, you can scroll down until you see the heading "View Dropbox Content".
You should see Dash listed here. Click on it and then click "Disconnect".
This should disable Dash on your account.
I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else.
