Dropbox creating tmp$$ file extension instead of .jpg

Hi,

When exporting from Adobe Illustrator some JPG-s, some of them are well exported with .jpg extension but some of them stuck to .tmp$$ extension. If i close Dropbox app or stop the sync everything is fine.

Any solution for this?

Thank you!

    Welcome aboard the forum, iulianbaciuonline

Is this only happening with files you’re trying to save to your Dropbox app via Adobe Illustrator? Have you encountered a similar behavior when saving files to the Dropbox app from other third-party apps?

Can you send a screenshot of the extension that you mention, so that I may check it, as well?

    Keep me updated.

Hey iulianbaciuonline, since our desktop app seems to be syncing temp files while the exporting process takes place, can you try quitting or pausing syncing on the app, when you export the files?

That should resolve this issue for you.

Yes. This solves the problem but its annoying. It's not a big problem, i thought you have a solution for this. Maybe you can create a setting to delay the sync process with 1-2 second after creating the file. Then the file can be fully created.
    Thank you.
