DropBox Not syncing from iMac Monterey to Dropbox central or Windows
DropBox Not syncing from iMac Monterey to Dropbox central & Windows, any ideas?
- 4 years agoHey RapsGazette, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
Can you please clarify what you mean by 'Dropbox central'?
And what is the sync status of the Dropbox app on your iMac? You can check this by hovering your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar.
Also, can you check your account online, to see if the changes you make are syncing there?
Let me know what you find!

4 years agoHey roiho, thanks for the nudge!
Let’s check a few things together.
First of all, what’s the current syncing status of your desktop app, as well as its app version?
Also, what’s the exact OS version of the computer that you’re using?

Hi Nancy!
Thanks for writing!
The Dropbox version is v154.4.5363.
I am not sure what you mean by the "syncing status". Here is a screenshot of my preferences.
This is my OS version

Thanks for checking, roiho!
From what you mention, it sounds like your desktop app is currently fully synced.
Can you try to upload a few files to your Dropbox account, as a test, and let me know if the same issue still persists?
If it does, I’d like you to create a screen recording of what you see on your end, so that we can investigate this further.

Hi roiho, sorry to jump in here!
Have you tried uninstalling, then re-installing the app to see if this does the trick for you?
